What are we looking for?**

We are seeking an experienced IT Product Manager who will be responsible for the strategic development and management of technology products or platforms within financial services sector.

This position can be performed 100% remote from any location in Spain. **

Main Responsibilities**

  • Develop and manage product roadmaps based on the strategic vision of the company, with a specific focus on technology products or platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, sales, marketing, and operations to deliver new technology products or enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation in the technology space.
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of technology products.
  • Understand customer needs and gather product requirements, with a focus on technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all product initiatives align with the company's technology goals and objectives.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, for technology products.
  • Lead technology product development initiatives and coordinate with engineering teams to deliver functional solutions.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product messaging for technology products.

What UST expects from you?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience in IT product management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector, translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • Strong understanding of the banking or financial services industry, as well as the technology landscape within this sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with a specific focus on technology solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on technology product delivery.

  • Human Centered: to lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long-term vision for your product and turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for the team.
  • Business Focused: to prioritize the long-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned and define KPIs for the product being responsible for those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.
  • Technology Driven: to have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business and work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience.
  • Integrated Problem Solving: to develop a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes and build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer.
  • Transformational Leadership: to rally your teams and senior stakeholders to the product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem and be responsible for attracting and retaining top talent to your team.
