The successful Initiative Program Manager embraces new opportunities to discover, design, develop and launch to market homebuilder software products that are initiated from trending client requests and that solve real business problems. Emphasis on creating opportunities for our customers and Constellation Homebuilders Systems is a fundamental requirement for this unique position.
The Initiative Program Manager is the bridge that spans our organization and is the hub for planning, communication, and software delivery results. Responsibilities include:
Working closely with stakeholders to understand their desires, obstacles, and business
very well, and to serve as their representative in internal conversations
Working closely with senior management to convey and negotiate our product strategy, prepare all forms of project progress reports, and deliver presentations
Communicating and decoding information for stakeholders
Works closely with the development team on everything from high-level workflows and report layouts, to proof of concept code and user interfaces
Embraces a client driven application design and development process by immersing themselves in end-user real world environment and incorporating feedback that fosters a highly adopted industry solution
Works with quality assurance team to assist in building test strategies and results,
Creates design specs for development and documentation teams that will eventually be served to all stakeholders upon product release
Leading an Early Adopter program, hand-off meetings to internal teams, and implementations to customers
Caring deeply about user experiences, implementations, and the ongoing operational success that turns a product that customers need, into a product they want for life
Doing whatever it takes to make the product or service useful, exciting, and successful
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Deep insight and contagious passion for software and their related business processes
Ability to translate product vision into action
Aptitude to understand others and make them feel understood
Ability to elicit and confirm requirements from stakeholders
Experience in CRM, Sales, or Homebuilding related software technologies a huge plus
Experience with developing, supporting, or managing software in a production environment
Understanding of software implementation strategies, with the skill to foster a high performing software delivery team
Skilled in establishing and tracking to delivery schedules
Experience in making their teams, products, and implementations successful
