ABOUT THE ROLE 

S&S Activewear is committed to fostering a high-performance, people-first culture. As part of this ongoing transformation, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director, HRBP to lead our people agenda, drive organizational effectiveness, and enhance leadership capabilities across the business. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and serving as a key member of the HR leadership team, this role will be responsible for modernizing and optimizing the HR function to support a dynamic, fast-moving organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership presence, courage in decision-making, and a customer-centric mindset, ensuring that S&S Activewear continues to evolve as an industry leader.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CPO and executive leadership team on all strategic people matters.
  • Lead and develop a high-impact HR team, ensuring excellence across HRBP, talent management, rewards, L&D, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to reinforce company objectives, embed cultural shifts, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy to strengthen leadership capability, frontline effectiveness, and compliance/safety standards.
  • Leverage HR technology, analytics, and reporting tools to drive insight, efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous improvement, ensuring business agility and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead organizational design and transformation initiatives, promoting clarity, alignment, and engagement across teams.
  • Design and execute holistic talent strategies encompassing acquisition, development, succession planning, and workforce management to meet both immediate and long-term business objectives.
  • Liaise with Corporate HR and Legal teams to address complex employee relations issues while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Work alongside Group HR to provide timely, high-quality service solutions that effectively support local business operations.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for the human resources department, ensuring financial efficiency
  • In collaboration with senior leadership, lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide retention strategy enhancing employee retention and establishing an effective, sustainable organizational infrastructure
  • Identify and drive opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and enhanced performance across operating units.
  • Mentor and inspire direct reports, HR team members, and emerging HR leaders, fostering a culture of excellence and enthusiasm throughout the organization
  • Stay informed of evolving market trends and employment legislation to uphold compliance and best practices.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a strong sales-driven, customer-facing orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred
  • Adept at navigating complex organizational structures while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
  • Aligning HR strategies with operational and employee needs to drive sustainable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead with courage, making bold decisions that drive the business forward.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relationship-building and influencing key stakeholders across leadership and frontline teams.
  • Extensive experience in process optimization, ensuring operational efficiency and organizational agility.
  • Deep knowledge in talent development, total rewards, organizational design, and labor relations.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and leadership skills, capable of driving change at scale.
  • Fostering inclusivity and leveraging diverse perspectives to drive decision-making.
  • Technical expertise, and ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
