Axis is now looking for a Key Account Manager - Digital Transformation (f/m/d). A significant growth opportunity in our long-term strategy within DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), and our exciting Sales Region in Middle Europe. YOUR FUTURE TEAM?

As of today, the team is formed by 10 open, and driven Key account Managers End Customers/Global Partners, Distribution Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers. You will report to Maximilian Galland, Manager of Sales responsible for DACH region. Besides your closest teammates, you will also interact with many sales roles within Middle Europe, including Inside Sales/ Key/Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Technical Trainers. In addition to sales, you will also work closely with marketing - always ensuring that partners in our region are getting the right attention and are properly covered

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Key Account Manager for Digital Transformation is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing both new and existing System Integrator and Technology Integration Partners (TIPs). The goal is to expand Axis's presence in the digital transformation sector, particularly focusing on Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency solutions.

This involves analyzing local markets, especially key segments like Manufacturing, Utilities, and Logistics, as well as areas influenced by government spending, laws, and regulations.

A significant aspect of this role is Business Development, requiring the translation of customer challenges into technical solutions using Axis's portfolio, potentially with minor modifications. The role also involves communicating market and partner insights to our solution engineering team to guide future product development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consultative Selling: Act as a consultant, guiding partners and end customers on how digital tools can transform their operations and assisting with digital strategy and roadmap development.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners, helping them navigate technology adoption and ensuring smooth solution implementation with ongoing support.
  • Education and Demonstration: Lead demonstrations, webinars, and workshops to showcase technology, explain features and benefits, and help partners visualize the impact.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Establish pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new technologies, industry trends, and emerging tools to provide partners with relevant and cutting-edge solutions.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a driven, customer-focused professional who excels in dynamic, collaborative environments. You possess a passion for technology and its transformative potential for businesses. Your approach is consultative, focusing on building lasting relationships and communicating with clarity, confidence, and curiosity.

This role requires a strong understanding of the market, preferably with experience in the Manufacturing or Logistics sectors, combined with technical aptitude, commercial acumen, and a natural sense of curiosity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within digital transformation, cloud, or software solutions.
  • Solid understanding of digital technologies and their impact on business operations.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and structure activities efficiently.
  • Technical proficiency to coordinate demos, proof of concepts, and pilot programs.
  • Ability to explain complex technologies in a simple and compelling manner.
  • Fluent in German and English
