The ideal candidate will possesses in-depth knowledge of the German-speaking sports betting landscape and a proven track record of success in the industry. In this role, you will shape and drive the content strategy for our high-performing German sports betting affiliate portal, using data-driven insights to stay ahead of the curve in a competitive market. They will also lead and mentor a team of 5–7 talented content professionals, ensuring strategic alignment, accountability, and continued growth within the team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a predictive, data-informed content strategy tailored to the DACH market.
Lead, coach, and manage a team of 5–7 writers and editors to consistently produce high-performing content.
Monitor regional sports betting trends and user behavior to inform editorial direction.
Provide weekly insights and actionable plans based on high-potential events, seasonal trends, and local market dynamics.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify and close content gaps, improving both rankings and conversions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, Product, and Quality teams to align content initiatives with broader business goals.
Elevate content quality through strategic planning, structured execution, and ongoing optimization.
Define and enforce content governance best practices, including lifecycle management, internal linking, page structure, update schedules, change tracking, and seasonal workflows.
