Job Description

Danfoss Power Electronics and Drive is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who can help meet revenue growth targets by keeping Danfoss competitive and innovative. Do you have experience in a sales role and have a proven track record in achieving growth and hitting sales targets? Then you might be our new Senior Sales Engineer who will be developing and strengthening customer relationships while maximizing sales.

Bringing in your sales expertise, you will focus on improving coverage by establishing and strong relationship with existing new customers. You will also add value to customers’ business and be required to collaborate closely with other technical experts globally.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • HVAC-R Market Development: Develop and execute business strategies to expand market share in HVACR sector in Vietnam.
  • Technical Consulting and Sales: Provide in-depth technical solutions related to variable frequency drives, assisting clients in selecting the right products that meet the specific needs of HVAC-R projects.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic clients, including contractors, engineering consultants, and project owners in the HVAC-R industry.
  • Market Analysis: Research and evaluate the HVAC-R market, identifying new business opportunities, competitors, and technological trends.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with technical, after-sales service, and marketing teams to ensure the delivery of comprehensive solutions and outstanding customer support.
  • Customer Training and Support: Organize training sessions and technical workshops on variable frequency drive products for clients and partners, ensuring they understand the features and benefits of the products.
  • Project Coordination: Support clients in implementing HVAC projects, ensuring the effective integration of variable frequency drives into existing systems.
  • Sales Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze sales performance, proposing improvements to achieve revenue targets and optimize the sales process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in a sales position, preferably in the industrial equipment or automation industry, with experience in variable frequency drives being a strong advantage.
  • Experience or deep knowledge of the HVAC market is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of the HVAC market and technological trends.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and planning.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing) to work in a multinational environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
