Job Overview


This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a deep interest in healthcare data, and the ability to lead and execute data-driven projects across the organization. The role will support various departments, including clinical, finance, operations, and sales/marketing, by developing and implementing strategies for data management, analytics, and business intelligence. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and execution of technology strategies to optimize performance and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities


Technology Strategy and Leadership:

  • Assist in the development and execution of the technology roadmap to align with the organization’s goals.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of software applications, ensuring security, scalability, and integration with other systems.

Data Management and Analytics:

  • Work closely with internal teams to define data needs and ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data across systems.
  • Lead the integration of data from multiple sources, such as EMRs, financial systems, and operational platforms, to create centralized data access for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Ensure data governance and management frameworks support business intelligence, analytics initiatives, and evidence-based decision-making.

Cybersecurity and Risk Management:

  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s information assets.
  • Assist in conducting regular risk assessments, implementing disaster recovery plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the organization is HIPAA compliant.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality technology, data, and analytics solutions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.
Requirements


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data technology role, preferably within healthcare.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven experience in working with a variety of data systems, including EMRs, ERP systems (finance), CRM platforms, and other business data sources.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing data management strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in managing data pipelines, integration, and warehousing, with a focus on data quality, data security, and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, with experience working on data warehouses, data lakes, and managing large-scale data sets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage data projects, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data integration tools.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse platforms (Azure, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in healthcare.
