Location and Work

This is a full-time position and is remote. Travel will be required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

About the Position and the Team

The Senior Account Executive - Parcel is responsible for growing revenue for TransImpact by utilizing strong skills and experience in B2B sales, strategy, and negotiation specific to Parcel contract negotiation and SaaS. They consult with parcel shippers to help improve bottom line profitability by gaining actionable insights into their parcel shipping data and by obtaining market appropriate carrier agreements. They are responsible for the overall management and accuracy of their sales funnel, business terms negotiation, and management of the implementation processes. The Senior Account Executive – Parcel is responsible for understanding the products and services offered by TransImpact while articulating the value they create for our clients as part of facilitating the sales process.  

 

Responsibilities

Sales Skills

  • Achieve annual sales KPIs.
  • Identify and develop new clients using ethical sales techniques and relationship-building strategies.
  • Demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills to drive all phases of the sales cycle and win new business.
  • Maintain client relationships to support long-term growth.

Communication Skills

  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external clients to build profitable, long-term relationships.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to sales inquiries.

Time Management & Organizational Skills

  • Plan and prioritize daily sales activities to meet annual goals while managing personal time and productivity.
  • Keep CRM and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Office) updated with accurate and timely information.
  • Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.


Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent education combined with work experience.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) + of Parcel and/or Freight sales (carrier and/or technology provider) 
  • Experienced with B2B sales and account management; SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem solving and issue resolution during the pre and post sales processes. 
  • Ability understand and negotiate business contracts.
  • Ability to analyze and calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.  
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Must demonstrate outstanding organizational skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (HubSpot, SalesForce etc.)
