Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter – EU based


The Role


Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter will be based in our offices in Dublin or can work remotely in an EU country. The purpose of this role is to drive the recruitment of professional services staff to satisfy the Trindent Consulting immediate and ongoing requirements for engagement projects with clients in the EU.


The successful person will need to have direct technical resourcing experience for the Oil & Gas, Refinery Operations, Petro-Chemical or energy associated industries. You will be working closely day to day with the existing TA team, the Administration, HR and Operations management team in Canada.

• Source candidates for all corporate and professional services roles through active prospecting.
• Manage job postings across all relevant platforms, evaluate applicants and implement initiatives to improve applicant quality. 
• Pre-screen and conduct interviews with prospective candidates. Work diligently to ensure a positive candidate-experience by acting as the initial contact, addressing all inquiries, and establishing professional relationships. 
• Ensure diversity, equity and inclusion is incorporated throughout the recruitment process. 
• Build and maintain an active and engaged pipeline of candidates. Proactively work to staff upcoming projects.
• Maintain up-to-date recruiting records and data bases. 
• Liaise with all levels of Management and provide weekly updates on the recruitment process and pipeline status.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.


Do you have the skills to be successful in this role?


A University degree in a technical engineering subject or a concentration in Business / Human Resources / Talent Acquisition is preferred. 
5 years minimum experience of professional full-cycle recruitment.

Direct experience of in-house or internal recruiting for the Oil, Gas, Refinery, Petro-Chemical or associated industries.

Experience of working in a professional services or consulting firm is a distinct advantage.  

Extensive knowledge and experience of EU recruitment, EU Travel regulations, Schengen visa rules, HR practice and on-boarding procedures.

Contribute to and participate in external recruitment events for example University campus events. 
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
Established relationship management skills.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Practical experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter.
Ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.
Ambitious and proactive and able to work with a sense of urgency. 
Highly sociable, courteous, ethical and professional.
Embraces problem solving challenges and opportunities.

Able to accurately assess candidates suitably against open roles

Carry out checks to ensure the validity and accuracy of candidate documents and credentials.
