Lumen is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (II) to support our Accelerate Growth Team (AGT) Central Finance.

Are you ready for a high-impact finance role where your insights drive strategic decisions and develop a deep understanding of FP&A processes, enhance analytical skills, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization?

As Finance Analyst you will play a crucial role on the FP&A team and gain exposure to a wide range of financial activities with the opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals.

In this role you will be assisting in the preparation of financial reports and conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. You will be also performing ad-hoc analysis as required, developing and maintaining financial dashboards and reporting tools.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance together with understanding of key drivers, dependencies and trends
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data, and assist in developing financial models to predict future financial performance
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis or models as required to support various business initiatives or for informative purposes
  • Work closely with various departments to collect and validate financial information and provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting tools and techniques, such as Power BI, to create dynamic and interactive financial reports
  • Integrate data from multiple systems to provide comprehensive operational and financial insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning, processes and analysis activities
  • Actively support the finance team by anticipating needs, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions before they arise
  • Participate in the preparation of high-quality presentations for stakeholders, clearly communicating financial data and insights
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new financial tools to continuously improve the quality of financial analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to organize and manage work in an efficient and effective manner to ensure task, milestones and goals are met according to defined timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
