Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Data Migration Specialist to support the final phase of a multi-entity ERP implementation project. This role is focused on the migration of historical financial and operational data from QuickBooks into NetSuite across several business entities. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with NetSuites data import tools, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in handling large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Mapping
• Analyze existing historical data structures in QuickBooks.
• Develop comprehensive data mapping documents aligning QuickBooks data fields to NetSuite record types and fields.
• Data Extraction & Transformation
• Extract historical data from QuickBooks across multiple entities using tools such as Excel, CSV exports, and third-party utilities.
• Transform and normalize data to meet NetSuite formatting and validation requirements.
• Data Loading
• Import data into NetSuite using CSV Import, SuiteScript (if needed), and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks.
• Conduct test imports to validate data integrity and refine templates.
• Reconciliation & Validation
• Reconcile migrated data with QuickBooks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to perform trial balance validations, transaction matching, and audit reviews.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed migration logs, scripts, templates, and validation reports.
• Document issues, resolutions, and process improvements for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and NetSuite support for technical troubleshooting and functional validation.
• Provide training and support for internal users in understanding legacy data as presented in NetSuite.

Qualifications

Required:

• 35 years of experience in NetSuite ERP with a focus on data migration and financial modules.
• Proven experience migrating data from QuickBooks Desktop/Online to NetSuite.
• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite CSV import, Saved Searches and Custom Record.
• Strong skills in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
• Solid understanding of multi-entity accounting, journal entries, historical financial reporting, and period close processes.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld, including intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting.
• NetSuite ERP Certification or NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
• Background in renewable energy, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
