Job Overview:
As Business Development Manager you'll contribute to the growth of a leading global provider of plastic returnable packaging products and services to Agriculture, Industry, Food Processors, Retail, and others.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be proficient at solving business problems for your customers through relationship-based solutions-selling. You'll develop an aggressive sales pipeline and demonstrate the best of your hunter skillset to help the business expand.
You're comfortable with national travel and have capacity to travel 70 to 90%. You'll create and present presentations for potential customers using PowerPoint. You'll work closely with the team to develop financial models that help you close deals. You can talk about business models with stakeholders and customers and demonstrate that you understand the value of financial planning as well as how the timing of financial plans impact sales cycles. You'll be expected to develop, forecast, and speak to the dynamic nature of sales pipelines, using Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.
You enjoy prospecting and innovating ways to reach more customers that will benefit from your catalog and custom product offerings. You'll work successfully with your peers as a contributing member of the team. You are confident in your capacity to deliver a robust sales pipeline and early sales success within 4-6 months of joining the team.
