Job description

This is a remote position.

Role Name: Senior Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator

Schedule:

Full-time Monday to Friday 40 hour work week.
8.30am - 4.30pm AWST preferred. But slightly flexible

Client Timezone: AWST (Perth, Australia)

Join a dynamic international company with operations spanning Australia and Europe as a Full-Time Bookkeeper/Account Administrator. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing the financial operations across multiple entities, starting with the Australian division before expanding your impact to European operations. This position offers excellent growth potential as you'll master multiple accounting systems and gain international business experience. Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable invoice entries and payment preparation

  • Handle accounts receivable sales entries and statement sending

  • Download and prepare financial reports from various systems

  • Perform data entry and maintenance in accounting systems

  • Process transactions in Dext and Xero for Australian operations

  • Learn and operate Exact and Facecode systems for European operations

  • Generate and distribute financial statements

  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities

  • Execute vlookup and other Excel functions for financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Dext and Xero accounting software

  • Strong Excel skills, particularly with vlookup functions

  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry

  • Ability to learn new accounting systems quickly

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Professional communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures

Scope:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)

  • Initially focused on Australian company operations

  • Future expansion to include European company operations

  • Work with multiple accounting systems (Dext, Xero, Exact, Facecode)

  • Handle financial operations across international business units

  • Coordinate with team members in different time zones

  • Support month-end and periodic financial reporting processes
