Job Title
Field Service Engineer

Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing professionally Healthcare equipment and maximizing customer satisfaction at customers sites primarily in the area between Horsens and Aalborg and in the rest of Denmark as well, but to a lesser extent in all the other Nordic countries. Your main modality will be Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and you will also be cross trained for Ultrasound.

Your role:

  • Executing service activities such as regular preventative maintenance, emergency service, faultfinding, upgrades, installations according to the relevant Philips’ quality standard policies.

  • Completeness and accuracy of service records, with particular attention to test & inspection results

  • Timely and accurate submission of service data, job sheets, field problem reports and other relevant administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.

  • Reporting customer feedback and follow-up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.

  • Using appropriate measurement equipment (electronic and analogue) in a calibration controlled cycle

  • Keeping an open and attentive eye out for business opportunities that will contribute to customer satisfaction and positive margin contribution.


You're the right fit if you have the following:

  • Relevant educational background within medical/electrical engineering – or similar.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience within field service, preferably within a hospital environment.

  • Good at identifying and maintaining customer relationships and related contacts.

  • Independent and service-minded with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.

  • Structured, organized mindset with a high level of personal integrity and self-discipline.

  • Profound IT skills is a merit.

  • Fluent in English and Danish language.

  • Driving license (B).

  • Willingness to travel.
