The Field Effectiveness Manager role sits on the Field Effectiveness Team, part of Field Operations within the Commercial function of the Travel Partnerships and Media (TPM) division. In this role you will work in close partnership with the Field Performance Manager, Product, Engineering and other cross functional teams, serving as the subject matter expert and voice of the Field teams. 

In this role your expertise in sales and account management and passion for optimizing processes, tools and ways of working at pace will maximise commercial performance outcomes 

In this role you will: 

  • Map current state business ecosystems (process, systems, tools and data flows within a specific line of business (e.g Hotels Market Management)  

  • Conduct investigation and analyse data to determine causal relationships 

  • Identify issues and opportunities across people, process, systems and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Field (Commercial) teams  

  • Translate issues and opportunities into detailed business requirements  

  • Partner with internal field and cross functional teams such as analytics, salesforce, product, tools and enablement teams to resource, design and execute on changes  

  • Develop and manage change roadmaps to ensure timely adoption and effective adoption 

  • Engage and gain buy in from stakeholders on improvement recommendations  

  • Document best practices and develop standard operating procedures  

 

      Experience and Qualifications 

  • 3+ years commercial field experience within a Sales & Account Management position  

  • Developed project schedules, defined timeframes, and prioritized tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives. (Desirable; Agile, Prince, PMP) 

  • Experience in utilising improvement frameworks & methodologies such as Six Sigma & LEAN to solve problems 

  • Success in developing project schedules, defining timelines and delivering improvements independently 

  • Deep understanding of commercial tools and systems, specifically Salesforce 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  

  • Demonstrated experience of using data and analysis to prioritise business problems 

  • Experience in collaborating with team members and stakeholders across functions to develop new ideas or approaches to achieve performance improvement goals.
