Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Revenue Manager with a strong background in revenue accounting to join our growing finance team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606), and the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue and month end close processes, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous process improvement. An ideal candidate will have a desire to own the revenue function and identify opportunities for improvement to effectively scale our financial operations.

What You'll Do

Lead and standardize the revenue accounting process which includes customer onboarding, relationship management, contract review, invoice preparation, revenue recognition, supporting documentation and revenue related financial reporting
Work cross functionally with the growth, customer success and other teams to streamline billing, collection and revenue processes
Own calculation and payment of commissions to sales reps
Prepare revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606
Own preparation of the revenue related month-end close activities
Document accounting conclusions in audit memos
Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Assist in audit requests and external audit support
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automation and efficiency improvements to scale workflows and improve the full revenue cycle
Oversee and enhance sales tax compliance including monitoring nexus and required filings

What You Bring

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years focused on revenue accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
Expertise in billing processes, invoicing, and collections strategies
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with revenue automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Haves

CPA license
Strong familiarity with revenue automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
Having scaled led or played a key role in scaling the revenue function

Compensation

$110,000 - 135,000 salary + equity incentives
