About the role
As our Senior Product Designer, you'll design and optimize internal tools, ensuring seamless management of our home equity investment portfolio. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and other designers to create efficient, error-resistant workflows that provide clarity into property and investment statuses. Your work will be deeply informed by user interviews and stakeholder collaboration, balancing the needs of the business, investors, and homeowners. You should be outcome-driven while thinking strategically about future design opportunities.

Your responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, iterative environment, demonstrating adaptability, ownership, and a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Synthesize complex business requirements and compliance needs into intuitive user experiences.
- Conduct extensive user research with internal teams to deeply understand servicing and investor operations workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and iterate on interfaces that help operations teams monitor property status, detect potential issues, and manage investor relationships efficiently.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating quickly to refine solutions.
- Create clear information hierarchies and interaction patterns that minimize errors and ensure critical tasks aren't missed.
- Maintain and contribute toward design systems that promote consistency across internal tools.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
- Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions with operations teams to validate solutions and gather insights.
About You
- 4+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on internal tools, enterprise software, or complex workflows.
- Proficiency in Figma and a strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and design systems.
- Demonstrated experience conducting user research, synthesizing insights, and translating them into scalable, high-impact design solutions.
- Ability to craft clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that drive business outcomes.
- Strong systems thinking and pattern recognition, with an emphasis on creating scalable, reusable design components.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for quality, especially when designing in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to break down complex workflows and deliver intuitive, efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and translate complex needs into actionable designs.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, outcome-driven startup environment.
- Background in fintech or regulated industries is a plus.

Fully paid parental leave
- Point will true-up wages from state-applicable PFL earnings so that the employee’s total gross pay will be equivalent to 100% of their regular base pay, as well as two weeks of fully paid leave to be available after exhaustion of state PFL.
- For employees in states without Paid Family Leave, Point will provide up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
- In addition, all employees will receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time. For four weeks after returning from parental leave, and following the use of all other paid leave benefits, you may work part-time, meaning two or three days per week, and receive 100% of regular base pay.

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on the market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):
- Tier 1 | San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, & Seattle | $152,200 - $205,900
- Tier 2 | Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego | $129,200 - $174,800
- Tier 3 | All other US metro areas | $121,600 - $164,500
This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
