Job description

Catchpoint Professional Services organization is one that works with some of Catchpoint’s largest customers to help them improve and maintain their web and mobile performance with expert advice and recommendations.

The Scripting Specialist will serve as the backbone for setting up monitors in customer environments. They will focus on maintaining the effectiveness of scripting strategies and will have opportunities to engage directly with customers at a core level.

 

What will success look like in this position?

The scripting specialist will collaborate closely with customers to develop monitors tailored to their infrastructure needs. This role involves a continuous learning curve throughout one's career. We have examples of individuals who began in scripting roles and have since transitioned into product management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work with clients, providing expert analysis and insights
  • Creating test scenarios for clients using playwright based front end scripting
  • Work as an extension of your client's team, assisting in ad hoc analysis or testing
  • Contribute actively to knowledge base, blog, and other product-related documentation
  • Ability and means to travel as needed.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve customer issues and questions
  • Collaborate with engineering in identifying product defects, designing solutions, and testing.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Experience in automation testing (QA) using Playwright
  • Experience in front end development/testing using JavaScript
  • Experience in using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Excellent conceptualization and communication skills.  
  • Great listening skills and customer focused
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good problem-solving capabilities
