PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The EBA Team Application Leads a group of developers and ERP analysts, focusing on both the ongoing support of our current ERP system and the strategic planning and execution of future upgrades. This role will ensure the efficient and seamless operation of the ERP, troubleshooting any issues that arise and providing expert application support to end-users. You will work closely with business units across the organization to tailor the ERP to meet specific needs, ensuring it integrates smoothly with other business systems and enhances overall data quality, process efficiency, and system performance.

 

In addition to leading the team, this person will continue to provide targeted ERP training to end-users, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively utilize the system. This person will also help develop and maintain detailed system documentation, user guides, and training materials to support both current and future needs. This role will be critical in ensuring that the ERP system supports the organization’s growth and drives continuous improvement across business processes. Through collaboration with both technical and business teams, we will ensure that the team delivers high-impact solutions that enable the organization to leverage its ERP system to its fullest potential. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

People / Team Leadership:

  • Lead team stand ups and all-hands meetings as required.

End-User Training and Troubleshooting:

  • Conduct targeted application training sessions to elevate end-user competence and familiarity with the ERP. 
  • Provide exemplary end-user assistance, troubleshooting application or technical issues, and ensuring effective solutions and support continuity. 
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, system documentation, end-user guides, and training materials.

System Administration and Customization:

  • Administer the ERP application to ensure all end-users have correctly configured and secure accounts.

Project Collaboration and SDLC Participation:

  • Engage in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with in-house software developers, including design, coding review, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with end-users, executives, and staff to improve ERP data quality and system efficiency.

Reporting and Data Management:

  • Assist in creating, enhancing, and maintaining business reports using SQL, SSRS, Data Views, and Infor Reporting.
  • Analyze existing business processes and system configurations to identify areas for optimization and automation.

 

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:

  • Team is currently 5-6 people, but over time this team may flex to up to 10 or more.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years demonstrated expertise supporting end-users on Infor SyteLine based solutions. 
  • Ability to meticulously test, document, and convey code changes and modifications with the end-user in mind.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical requirements to software developers and translating technical details into clear, user-friendly instructions for end-users.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to meet deadlines consistently.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, mentoring and developing a team.
  • Experience working with Infor SyteLine v10.x
  • Proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures, views, triggers, and database management using MS T-SQL.
  • Experience with complex multi-site and multi-currency configurations.
  • Experience with MRP, APS and Scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Lake Companies Doc-Trak, Nutech Viewpoint, and Seagull Scientific Bartender.
  • Fundamental understanding of manufacturing and accounting principles.
  • Experience with helpdesk and ticketing systems.

 

Job Location:

  • The position is fully remote with minimal travel required to IEM facilities or conferences.
