The Team

We are currently recruiting for Strategic Account Managers with a background in areas such as hepatitis or substitution products to cover the North, West and South regions of Germany.

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term partnerships with the key accounts for substitution therapy in Germany, in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct, and the corporate strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build a sustainable network in the field of substitution therapy, such as addiction treatment clinics, harm reduction, medical centers and pharmacies

  • Establishment of long-term partnerships and identification of new stakeholders

  • Implementing a strategy that aligns with the company's goals and the needs of the healthcare professionals and patients

  • Deliver company approved product- and therapy area-related promotional materials and activities

  • Independent planning, organization and implementation of promotional events

  • Market and competition analysis for the development of strategies and measures

  • Participation in and representation of the company at regional and national congresses

  • Development of an industry analysis to manage activities, investments and performance

What you’ll bring

  • University degree in natural sciences or equivalent

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales in Germany with a network of doctors in your sales territory

  • Sound knowledge of the local pharmaceutical industry, distribution channels and healthcare system

  • Completed training in the medical, pharmaceutical or commercial field

  • Excellent knowledge of the healthcare system

  • Experience in or understanding of clinical practice and its settings in therapy area

  • Experience in substitution therapy or Opioids, CNS, Psychiatry and Migraine fields

  • Strong communication skills as well as negotiation skills and persuasiveness

  • Patient-centric-oriented, entrepreneurial and ambitious personality who takes responsibility for their sales territory

  • German language skills at native level, good English skills

  • High level of self-motivation, goal orientation and enjoyment of working with people
