Data Migration Developer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze existing data systems and databases to understand the structure, relationships, and formats of data.
Map data from source systems to target systems, ensuring proper alignment of data fields.
Load data into the target system, ensuring data is transferred without errors or data loss
Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the migrated data.
Address issues encountered during the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption.
Work closely with IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the data migration aligns with business requirements.
Document the data migration process, including workflows, challenges, and resolutions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and demonstrate strong understanding of tool development in .NET C# & Expertise in database management systems
Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably with large datasets and complex environments
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with technical teams and stakeholders.

Desired Skills

Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience with project management methodologies
