Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and confirming patients’ insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing and seamless patient care. This is a remote position based in Mexico, and the ideal candidate will have prior experience in insurance verification, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patients’ insurance eligibility and benefit coverage through portals, phone calls, emails, and other available tools
  • Accurately complete insurance verification documentation for all PPO & Medicare clients
  • Document and interpret details such as coverage limits, copayments, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, and exclusions
  • Enter accurate insurance information into the PromptEMR system (Payer Tab)
  • Communicate verification results with the internal team via PromptEMR and Gmail
  • Update patient records consistently and ensure real-time accuracy
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues
  • Assist patients in understanding their benefits and respond to related questions
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations
  • Stay current with insurance policy updates and payer requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation for auditing and internal reporting

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in insurance verification or medical billing
  • Fluent in Mexican Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance systems (PPO, Medicare, etc.)
  • Experience using EMR systems, preferably PromptEMR
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare documentation practices
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a working laptop

Benefits

  • Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you. 
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard. 

Salary : $1,280 – $1,600 USD/month

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM PT (Pacific Time)
