Job description

Exterro is seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer Lead to provide expert technical leadership for enterprise software implementation projects. This role is responsible for managing technical solutions from requirements gathering to system deployment, ensuring seamless and successful implementations for our global enterprise customers.

 

As a Technical Implementation Engineer Lead, you will collaborate closely with customers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design, configure, and roll out Exterro’s software solutions. You will play a key role in solution design, system integration, data analysis, and troubleshooting, helping customers adopt our software effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical implementation by gathering business processes, system requirements, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand business challenges and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of key technical milestones, including Single Sign-On (SSO), email delivery configuration, CSV-based integrations, API call advisement, and enterprise connectors for platforms like Microsoft, Google, and Slack, as well as service account setup and access management to ensure secure and seamless system operations.
  • Design and configure system architectures, ensuring seamless integration with customer environments.
  • Support and coordinate system implementations throughout the project lifecycle, from design and testing to go-live and post-launch support.
  • Conducted client training sessions and provided demonstrations to enhance software adoption.
  • Assist in software configuration, troubleshooting, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to ensure smooth deployments and ongoing support.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-discovery, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 1+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation, development, or technical support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues independently.
  • Ability to interpret and review technical documentation, system specifications, and architecture diagrams.
  • Experience in facilitating client workshops and leading technical discussions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with experience working directly with clients to drive technical projects to completion.
  • Experience working in global teams and collaborating across different time zones.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and driving process improvements.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to solving business and technical challenges.
  • A solid work ethic, a "can-do" attitude, and a willingness to take on challenges and develop innovative solutions.

As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary range for this remote position is $100,000-$115,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, flexible paid time off and more.
