• Responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing NetApp SnapCenter solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure SnapCenter Server and plug-ins for various applications (SQL Server 2022).
• Manage backup, restore, and cloning operations using SnapCenter.
• Configure SnapMirror or SnapVault replication, if necessary for data replication and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SnapCenter implementation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align SnapCenter deployment with organizational goals.

Implementation Tasks - SnapCenter
Install SnapCenter Server
· Setup storage system connections
· Create "Run As' credentials
· Add SQL hosts and push plug-ins
· Monitor plug-in package installation
· Configure plug-in package
· Verify supported storage types
· Complete storage layout requirements
Define backup strategy
· Prepare storage for SnapMirror and SnapVault replication, if necessary
· Prepare storage for FlexClones
Create policies and backup schedules
· Create resource group(s), attach policies
· Backup the resources or resource groups
· if needed, perform mount operations
Define a restore strategy
· Restore the resource
Define a clone strategy
· Clone the backup and split if required
Verify plug-in backup configuration(s)
Assist Customer to perform backup and restore tests to verify proper configuration of SnapCenter
Create Solutions Summary Document
Review Solutions Summary Document with Customer
Review the following components of SnapCenter:
· How to create resource groups
· How to create backup policies
· How to create backups
· How to restore backups
· How to clone backups
· Provisioning storage for Windows SAN Hosts
· UI review
· Reports
