This is a remote position.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Order Entry / Quote Entry Specialist to join our logistics operations team. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics or freight forwarding and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of customer orders and quotes into proprietary systems. This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Training will be provided on internal tools and platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately input domestic and international freight orders into internal order management systems.
Enter customer rate quotes based on pricing templates or instructions from operations or sales teams.
Ensure all shipment details are correctly recorded (e.g., weight, dimensions, service level, destination)
Follow up with relevant teams to complete missing quote or order information.
Review and verify orders and quotes for accuracy to avoid delays or billing issues.
Collaborate closely with sales and operations to align on customer requirements.
Maintain organized and up-to-date digital documentation for all transactions.
Support administrative functions related to billing, order management, and customer service when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight, or transportation operations.
Experience with proprietary systems or transportation management systems (TMS) is an advantage.
Excellent data entry skills with a strong focus on accuracy and speed.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, data entry).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Comfortable working within customized internal systems (training provided).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule, specifically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST.
