As the Google Workspace Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Configure and maintain Google Workspace services in line with current best practices
Monitor system health, optimize performance, and perform regular reviews of security and compliance posture
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, documenting solutions to enhance internal knowledge sharing
Lead the deployment and configuration of Workspace applications, ensuring reliability and usability for all users
Drive the integration and adoption of AI-driven tools—especially those powered by Gemini—within the Workspace ecosystem
Manage user access, authentication settings, and app integrations to ensure secure and efficient operation
Generate reports to support decision-making and process improvement across departments
Automate routine administrative tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload
Provide clear and accessible documentation for technical procedures, issue resolutions, and system updates
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align Workspace configurations with evolving business needs and user feedback
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 1 year directly managing cloud-based collaboration platforms
Deep understanding of Google Workspace tools such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Meet, along with administration of related services
Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues across Workspace applications and implementing effective solutions
Experience managing user accounts, authentication methods, policies, and third-party integrations
Strong knowledge of system performance monitoring, security compliance, and auditing processes
Demonstrated expertise in integrating AI capabilities—especially Google’s Gemini platform—into collaborative workflows to improve productivity
Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline routine system tasks
Effective written communication skills for documentation, training, and team collaboration
Experience with cloud migration projects involving Google Workspace or similar platforms
Change management knowledge to support smooth implementation and adoption of new tools or workflows
Google Workspace Administrator certification required.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
