About the Role:

We  are  looking  for  an  experienced  Sr.  Specialist,People  Operations  &  Audits  to  join our  People Operations  Team  in  APAC!  The  role  will  initially  report  to  the  Sr Manager,  International People Operations.  
The ideal candidate will have expertise in several relevant areas of HR and be excited about jumping in, rolling  up  their  sleeves,  and  adding  immediate  value  to  an integral  team  at  a  fast-growing  tech company!  
This  role  is  based  in  India  and  works  in  a  team  environment  to  support Confluent employees and managers across India & the APAC region.  

What You Will Do:

  • People Operations:-
  • Provide  support  to  employees  and  managers,  administering  processes  and responding  to questions regarding LOAs, benefits, systems, performance, Employee Handbook, and other HR 
    policies and programs.
  • Prepare  employee  documentation  relating  to  organisational  structure changes, acquisitions, internal transfers, promotions, leavers, salary changes & re-organizations.
  • Support  People  Business  Partners  to  ensure  the best HR support is provided to their client groups.
  • Partner with the Finance  team on the monthly payroll submission by providing the HR payroll instructions.
  • Contribute  to  the  People  Operations  team  continuous  processes  improvement by documenting, reviewing and streamlining our processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experience. 
  • Assist in cross functional projects/programs
  • Any other ad-hoc activities and HR projects 
  • Audit :-
  • Build and run global data audits to support processes across the People Operations team.
  • Develop  and  maintain  an  HR audit matrix, outlining the scope, objectives, and timelines for each audit. 

  • Collaborate with HR Ops team members to understand their processes, identify key risk areas, and define audit criteria.
  • Prepare audit programs, checklists, and questionnaires to guide the audit process.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on HR audits.
  • Prepare  clear,  concise,  and  objective  audit  reports  summarizing  findings,  conclusions,  and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the People Ops team  to develop and implement action plans to address audit findings and improve HR processes.
  • Present  audit  findings  and  recommendations  to  HR  management  and  other  relevant stakeholders.
  • Track  the  implementation  of  agreed-upon  corrective  actions  and  follow  up  to  ensure  their effectiveness .
  • Support the internal audit quarterly process & collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed .
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, controls, and efficiency based on audit findings and industry trends.

What You Will Bring:

  • 4+ years working in HR role in an international fast moving and changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
  • Comfortable delivering on simultaneous multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong cross functional relationships.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits and developing audit plans and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Suites, and HRIS systems (preferably Workday).
