WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Principal AI Strategist develops and executes strategies centered around Tealium’s Customer Data Platform to optimize customer engagement, personalization, and overall marketing performance. This role involves a deep understanding of customer data, analytics, and marketing technologies to leverage AI with Tealium’s CDP capabilities for targeted and effective marketing campaigns and business cases. The AI Strategist collaborates closely with the Product, Sales, and CS teams to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of Tealium’s technologies and services by customers' marketing, data, and technology teams.
The Principal AI Strategist helps customers establish Centers of Excellence, innovate with Tealium’s platform with a specific AI focus, create integrations with existing applications and infrastructure, and establish measurements of success and value to ensure that the customers’ Tealium investment and their use cases achieve true value.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Acting as a trusted advisor and working alongside the account team (CSM and Account Executive) in a portfolio of assigned strategic accounts
Understanding customers’ desired business outcomes and mutually plan to realize more value through Tealium's products or services with specific focus on AI enablement.
Conduct strategic workshops and engagements to drive incremental business value through increasing Use Case Adoption, Maturity and associated usage footprint (features, connectors, data, integrations, functions)
Drive net new Use Case expansion with a compelling verticalized industry Best Practices approach.
Guide customer organizations on how to leverage Tealium to implement their projects from design to production
Implement customer engagement strategies, including consistent Art of the Possible Use Case Reviews with Best Practices
Document customer engagement deliverables and associated methodologies and partner with Education, Enablement, and CS Ops to enable the Verticalized Use Case practices and capabilities across our Customers and employees
Collaborate with Marketing to grow the library of customer testimonials and documented use cases
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
Proven hands-on experience with Customer Data Platform (CDP) projects, co-developing and implementing use cases for Enterprise businesses
10 + years in facing role (Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Digital Strategy, Technical Account Manager) at a Marketing Technology SaaS provider, Digital Marketing Agency, or in Marketing Operations
Extensive knowledge of any of Tealium’s key industries
Comfortable establishing credibility with key customer decision-makers & influencers
Experience leading technical conversations and persuading others to take action based on requirements and value provided by solutions
Ability to learn technical content and context quickly and then convey it to customers
Experience working cross-functionally with several teams and proven track record of positively influencing decision-makers in other departments, including Sales, Ops, Legal, and Finance, among others
Proven experience in helping customers define their strategy and “plan the plan” to help them achieve their AI strategies by adopting Tealium’s CDP and associated ancillary tech platform.
Extensive experience with AI and the various models and approaches to designing and delivering successful projects to fruition.
WAGE TRANSPARENCY
In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.
The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:
Employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus and stock options.
Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.
Employees are eligible for flexible paid time-off and extended paid parental leave.
We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.
We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs.
Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:
Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.
Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range: $175,000 - $215,000 Base + Variable
