Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee global Procurement functions and team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Workday Procurement Module (Supplier) module or another cloud-based ERP system. Global procurement experience is a must with at least 3 years management required. This position requires an individual who can influence and support stakeholders, work independently, manage a global team, and effectively leverage systems and the IT team to streamline processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive procurement initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Communicate purchasing policies effectively to vendors and internal stakeholders to increase compliance and utilization of Procurement Services.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance to support month-end close processes and improve expense accounting.
  • Lead and mentor Procurement and Accounts Payable specialists and analysts, supporting their growth and development.
  • Review team output for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to best practices; provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities and manage team workloads to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee hiring needs, team coverage planning, and the creation of KPI reporting to track and improve team performance.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support procurement process evolution and integration during company growth or expansion.
  •  Serve as a key partner during global expansion efforts to onboard new entities and ensure smooth process adoption.
  • Optimize Workday functionality to meet business needs; troubleshoot system issues and work with IT to implement updates.
  • Support integrations between Workday, Salesforce, and supplier platforms to enhance procurement workflows.
  • Ensure process documentation is regularly updated to reflect system or policy changes.
  • Analyze current procurement workflows to identify improvement opportunities and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Manage and maintain SOPs for procurement operations and proactively identify risks in purchasing and payment processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+  years’ experience Procurement with 3 or more years in a supervisory/managerial position
  • Proven record of cross-functional communication and collaboration
  • Understanding of accrual-based accounting and other pertinent accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including moderate Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.)
  • Multi-currency procurement
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make sound decisions and take calculated risks
  • Fluency in English, both spoke and written

And it’s Great to Have:

  • B.S./B.A. in Accounting
  • Workday Financials experience a plus
  • Experience with software-as-a-service and/or technology industries
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or other formal process improvement training
  • Mergers & Acquisitions experience
  • Private equity background
