Job description

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will sell laminate, vinyl flooring, and a range of new material flooring to distributors, buying groups, hardware stores, small to medium-sized retail stores, and installers/contractors across Alberta. This position provides an exciting opportunity to lead in a results-driven environment while directly contributing to business growth. This role reports to the National Manager and offers a base salary of $70,000 - $85,000 plus commission.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
  • OTE $100,000 - $125,000 in the first year

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office: Markham, Ontario
  • Work Model: Remote
  • Sales Territory: Alberta
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

 

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record in territory management and driving business growth, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or retail-focused environments.
  • Sales experiences within the Building Materials industry, preferrable with flooring, tiles and similar products.
  • Experience working with distributors and large retailers (e.g., RONA, Home Depot, Costco) is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with the building supply or retail sector is preferred.

  • Sales Cycle: 1-3 months
  • Target Account Size: $1M in yearly revenues
