Job Title: HR & Payroll Specialist
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a resourceful and reliable HR & Payroll Specialist to manage essential people operations, including employee onboarding, relations, payroll, and policy implementation. You'll play a critical role in ensuring both compliance and culture are handled with care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a support-focused HR role and understands the importance of discretion, empathy, and detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and safe work environment through effective employee relations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clinical and administrative hires, assisting with onboarding and contract management.
  • Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage performance reviews and employee development processes.
  • Implement and maintain company policies and compliance procedures.
  • Administer payroll processing, employee benefits, and leave management.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate and submitted on time.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR experience, including payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Excellent English communication skills.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Gusto or ADP Payroll systems.
  • Background supporting healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with bookkeeping through QuickBooks.
