The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. The role will be a key contributor in our four-person Finance and Accounting team. To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a strong accounting background combined with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will need to work both autonomously and within a highly productive team.

What You’ll Do

Monthly financial reporting and analysis
Day-to-day bookkeeping, including cost accounting
Oversee AP and AR process
State and local tax reporting
Support financial audits
Assist in budgeting process
Projects directed by CFO
Maintain employee commission records
Research technical accounting matters

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in private equity backed company
4+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred if CPA
Preferred if experience with Netsuite and Bill.com
Experience with financial audits
Experience with accounting for multiple entities and business units
Experience with AR and AP process
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

The expected salary for this position is $90,000 – 130,000 CAD. When determining your pay, we will take into account your skills, experience, and location.
