Job description

As a driven Sales Representative, do you want to strengthen the team of a market leader in diagnostic products for laboratories? Are you autonomous, result-oriented with an eye for quality, enterprising and customer-oriented? Then you are the perfect match!


The laboratories in hospitals, universities and the food sector will become your new workspace in which you, as an expert in diagnostic products, will offer your customers the best support to boost sales. You will play an important role in developing and strengthening customer relationships in Antwerp, Limburg and Flemish Brabant.


What will you do?

As a hands-on Sales Representative, you actively approach and follow up existing and potential customers to support them professionally. You present and promote an extensive portfolio of diagnostic products with passion. You are the point of contact for your customers, such as the microbiologist, the lab technician and the purchasing department manager, and you provide training and demonstrations about our product portfolio from disposables to diagnostics.


In addition to your commercial skills and technical knowledge, you are involved in following up customer contacts and visits, managing samples and tests and processing price quotations. Fortunately, you are not alone: you can count on the support from the sales manager and the sales back office.

Requirements:

  • Are you a lab technician, medical laboratory technologist, biomedical scientist or do you have several years of relevant experience in a similar position?
  • An affinity and/or experience in laboratories is a requirement.
  • The process of anatomical pathology is familiar to you.
  • You have conversations in Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English.
  • You have knowledge of Office programs and reporting skills.
  • You are flexible, hands-on, customer-oriented and curious.
  • You are a sales talent adept in giving training and demonstrations.
