Job description

Join a significant and nationally impactful organisation undergoing an exciting phase of growth and development within its Corporate Services function. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of payroll for our diverse workforce.

About The Role

  • Manage the complete end-to-end payroll processing cycle for a growing number of entities within the organisation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries, wages, superannuation, and other deductions in compliance with relevant legislation and complex Enterprise Agreements.
  • Utilise your expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to manage payroll processes and maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Finance team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.
  • Participate in non-payroll related activities during off-cycle weeks, contributing to broader team objectives.
  • Report directly to a supportive and accessible leader within a flat team hierarchy.

About You

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within organisations with complex Enterprise Agreements.
  • Essential deep expertise and hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • A strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive and engaged mindset, eager to contribute beyond core payroll duties during non-pay weeks.
