Job Summary:
We are seeking a Telecom Sales Engineer to support our Sr. Sales Engineer in technical pre-sales activities, documentation, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in telecom (SBC, VoIP, SIP trunking, MS Teams integrations, etc.) who is also comfortable interacting with clients, delivering presentations, and contributing to the sales process.
As the right hand of the Sr. Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing all technical documentation, assisting with solution design, and helping translate customer needs into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Sr. Sales Engineer in preparing technical documentation, solution designs, and customer-facing materials.
Participate in technical discussions with clients to understand requirements and propose tailored telecom solutions.
Support pre-sales efforts, including presentations, demos, and technical validation.
Design and document VoIP, SIP trunking, SBC, and MS Teams-based solutions.
Create technical diagrams (e.g., using Microsoft Visio) to clearly communicate solution architecture.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering) to ensure accurate and timely responses to RFPs/RFIs.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Unified Communications and networking.
Requirements:
Requirements and Skills:
Strong technical knowledge in telecom: VoIP, SIP trunking, SBC, PSTN, MS Teams integration, etc.
Basic understanding of enterprise telecom environments and Unified Communications platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience working with customers and supporting sales or pre-sales efforts.
Proficiency in creating presentations and solution documentation.
Hands-on experience with tools like MS Visio, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
Prior experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role
Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Audiocodes solutions or similar telecom platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
Willingness to learn and grow within a technical sales career path.
