The role

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Germany Country Manager to lead expansion into one of the biggest pet markets in Europe. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll take full ownership of scaling the brand in Germany — with the ambition to triple market growth year over year. You’ll work at the intersection of marketing, growth, operations, and customer success, backed by a fast-moving team and a product-market fit that is already proven.

Key Responsibilities

Lead market entry and overall expansion strategy in Germany
Manage and optimize performance marketing, local campaigns, and partnerships
Monitor and improve key metrics like CAC, LTV, retention, and payback periods
Tailor the product and experience to fit the German market and customer expectations
Collaborate with product, tech, operations, and customer support to deliver an exceptional experience
Represent the brand in local media, events, and strategic partnerships
Build and manage a local team over time, starting in a hands-on “player-coach” capacity

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in marketing, growth, consulting, or business operations
Strong understanding of D2C models and performance marketing KPIs
Experience in a fast-scaling startup or subscription-based business (a plus)
Native-level German and strong communication skills in English
Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset — able to both lead and execute
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, international environment
Data-driven and commercially focused, with a high level of ownership and accountability
