As a Digital Advertising Operations Analyst, you will lead the charge in transforming how we monetize one of the most valuable audiences in the skies within our FlightAware Business.  FlightAware is the global leader in flight tracking and aviation data. Every day, millions of travelers, pilots, dispatchers, and aviation professionals rely on our real-time tools and predictive technology to power safer and more efficient skies.

In this role, you’ll own the systems, strategies, and relationships that drive network ad revenue across FlightAware’s digital properties. From optimizing header bidding and managing SSP integrations to ensuring flawless campaign delivery, this role is a rare opportunity to lead sell-side monetization for a brand with global visibility and industry trust.

This position is remote, with preference for candidates based in/near the following locations: Charlotte, NC; Annapolis, MD; Houston, TX;  TX; Cedar Rapids: IA

What You Will Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of network advertising monetization via Google Ad Manager and other SSPs.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize everything from ad units and pricing rules to identity solutions and floor pricing.
  • Analyze auction data, identify performance issues, and implement strategies to increase CPMs and fill rates.
  • Collaborate with sales to traffic direct deals and ensure premium execution with top-tier brands.
  •  Build and maintain relationships with ad tech vendors, exchanges, and data providers to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Monitor site performance, latency, and ad quality while aligning with privacy laws and industry standards.
  •  Work closely with FlightAware product and engineering teams to test new formats, placements, and revenue experiments.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager 
  • Experience with Internet advertising and advertising business models. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
