About The Team
The Senior Training Architect will be joining the Presales Strategy & Transformation team, a dynamic and innovative group at Nutanix. This remote team is spread across multiple geographic locations, including AMER, EMEA, and APAC, allowing for a diverse range of perspectives and insights. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, emphasizing continuous improvement and shared success. The mission of the team is to equip sales engineers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, driving customer engagement and satisfaction through expert training and enablement solutions.
You will report to the Manager of Solutions Strategy & Transformation, who is known for fostering an inclusive and empowering environment. You will lead the creation and facilitation of milestone-based training that equips early-career SE's with the technical and presales skills needed to succeed. This role blends deep instructional design expertise with engaging, real-world delivery- spanning hybrid cloud, could native technologies, and customer engagement strategy.
This manager values autonomy while encouraging open communication and collaboration, creating a space where team members feel safe to share ideas and challenge the status quo. The role is fully remote, which provides flexibility for team members to manage their work-life balance effectively without the requirement to come into the office.
This position has minimal travel requirements, with less than 25% travel expected. The flexibility in the schedule accommodates time zone coverage, ensuring that training sessions and collaborations are accessible to all team members regardless of their location.
Your Role
- Architect modular, milestone-driven learning paths across Academy phases.
- Translate frameworks and SME input into eLearn, hands-on Labs, ILT sessions, and knowledge checks.
- Design learning experiences that simulate technical sales cycles: discovery, sizing, demos, objection handling.
- Facilitate live training globally, including onboarding, labs, workshops, and SE skill-building sessions
- Deliver with clarity, presence, and adaptability across virtual and in-person environments
- Coach and mentor early-career SEs through technical ramp, product immersion, and confidence-building
- Tailor delivery to regional norms and provide consistent experiences across AMER, EMEA, and APAC
- Work with curriculum owners, technical SMEs, and field enablement leads to align content and delivery strategy
- Build reusable delivery toolkits, lab guides, and facilitation frameworks to support global scale
- Serve as a feedback channel between the field, Academy participants, and the enablement team
- Continuously iterate on design and delivery based on learner data and program outcomes
What You Will Bring
- 6–8+ years in technical training, instructional design, or sales engineering enablement.
- Strong background in designing and delivering learning paths for technical or presales audiences.
- T-3 - ready facilitation skills, with experience engaging diverse learners across delivery formats.
- Deep understanding of hybrid cloud, cloud-native, or DevOps concepts and their relevance to sales engineers.
- Proficiency with instructional tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, LM S platforms) and facilitation tools (e.g., Zoom, Miro, Slido).
- Comfort operating independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring early-career talent or developing role-based certification programs is a plus.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 128,000 and USD $ 255,600 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
