For our growing Procurement team, we are currently looking for a Global Car Fleet and EHS&S Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of the company’s global vehicle fleet, while also leading the company’s environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) initiatives. This role ensures fleet optimization, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate sustainability and safety objectives across all regions of operation.


Responsibilities

Car Fleet Management:

  • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to maximize vehicle efficiency and longevity. Identify opportunities to standardize the approach to the fleet globally.
  • Ensure data transparency by developing and managing the company database of all vehicles and other necessary information. Provide reports.
  • Develop and manage the fleet budget, ensuring costs remain within set parameters.
  • Analyze fuel usage, repair, insurance, and maintenance costs, and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
  • Ensure all vehicles in the fleet comply with local, state, and regional regulations (e.g., emissions, safety standards, licensing).
  • Manage vehicle insurance policies and claims, ensuring all vehicles are adequately insured.
  • Manage relationships with car leasing partners, vehicle suppliers, maintenance providers, fuel suppliers, and other third-party vendors.
  • Oversee and maintain driver records, ensuring compliance with company policies and driving regulations.
  • Develop and implement driver safety programs, training drivers on safe vehicle operation and proper maintenance procedures.

EHS&S:

  • Lead the development and implementation of global EHS&S policies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with international, regional, and local EHS&S laws and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits to improve safety performance.
  • Track and ensure completion of all mandatory employees’ training, maintaining accurate records and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and monitor EHS&S metrics and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate the work of the external EHS&S service provider to ensure compliance with local regulations.


Requirements

Required education and experience 

  • Fluent in English.
  • Several years of professional experience working in fleet management and EHS&S ideally in a multinational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of international fleet operations, EHSS regulations, and sustainability frameworks.

Required qualification

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex logistical issues.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively, and manage conflict constructively.
  • Ability to remain agile and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks/duties as assigned and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Experience with international organizations.
  • Great communication skills in English.
