Location: Remote, Candidates must reside permanently in the U.S. | Department: Research Operations | Type: Future Opportunity 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 - Compensation offered is based on evaluation during the interview process, the candidate's range and depth of experience, business and market financials, and internal pay parity.

What You'll Do

Depending on your level of experience and project assignments, responsibilities may include:

Project Leadership & Research Execution
  • Lead or support end-to-end UX research projects across industries and platforms

  • Design and conduct qualitative and/or quantitative user research, including usability studies, field studies, interviews, and surveys

  • Analyze findings to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations

  • Create compelling research deliverables such as reports, journey maps, personas, or stakeholder presentations

  • Train and mentor junior researchers; contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Client Engagement & Sales Support
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships

  • Assist with scoping, proposal writing, and contributing to sales materials

  • Participate in stakeholder workshops, research kickoffs, and findings presentations

Thought Leadership & Innovation
  • Contribute to blogs, webinars, and conferences (e.g., one blog/article per quarter)

  • Stay current with emerging tools and methodologies; help train the team on new technologies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve internal research best practices and processes


What We’re Looking For

We encourage applications from candidates with a range of experience in UX research:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, Marketing Research)

  • At least 2–3 years of applied UX research experience (client-facing or in-house)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead or support user research from planning to reporting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or advanced training in Human Factors, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field

  • 5+ years of UX research experience, ideally in a consulting or agency setting

  • Experience leading projects valued at $50K+

  • Familiarity with a wide array of UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, dscout, Optimal Workshop, eye tracking)

  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior stakeholders


Tools & Skills We Value
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GSuite, and project management software (e.g., Monday.com)

  • Basic to expert proficiency in data analysis and statistics

  • Strong organizational, storytelling, and time management skills

  • Video editing knowledge (e.g., Camtasia) and eye-tracking experience are a plus
