Recognised as one of the Times 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024, our vision is to change how the world operates, builds and designs critical infrastructure. Our mission goes beyond traditional infrastructure - we're creating digital twins of physical networks that enable global energy transformation. Through our advanced 3D modeling platform, we are helping utilities worldwide prepare for climate challenges, integrate renewable energy, and build resilient systems that will power the next century. It's about creating technology that shapes the future of the planet's most critical systems.

You will be part of a brand new team being formed in India to support our delivery functions, collaborating closely with our team in Europe and existing offshore BPO teams in India. You will also work closely with our entire delivery team and interact with our Australia and US departments (product, sales and development teams).

As an Implementation Specialist, once you become an expert on the Neara platform you will get heavily involved in key projects that will drive actionable insights for our clients. You can expect strong collaboration with the Head of Delivery based in Lithuania to ensure project quality and timely delivery. You will also have the opportunity to improve and automate our processes along the way.

We are open to applications from candidates based primarily in Bangalore and Chennai.

Some of the things you will contribute to (not all at once):

  • Configuring projects, and ensuring the integration of our system for utility/geospatial clients
  • Build reports and dashboards for effective data analytics and tracking, and ensure Neara’s system is adapted to client’s requirements.
  • Conceiving efficient workflows for delivery projects with a focus on automation, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets.
  • Identifying and prioritising improvements that would enhance the project’s speed by partnering with engineering and product teams.
  • Detecting inaccuracies in the digital twin and reconfiguring the automodelling and dependencies to GIS, LiDAR or other non-spatial databases available to enhance reliability in the related reports.
  • Analysing client requests or issues (specific to delivery/presales projects) and identifying new innovative opportunities for that implementation project.
  • Providing mentorship and training to Implementation Specialists and System Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill refinement.

You Will Need To Have

  • A degree qualification
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in GIS/CAD geoprocessing and/or LiDAR
  • Proven coding experience in any language, with demonstrated ability to:
    • Solve scalable problems
    • Successfully implement solutions in professional settings
  • Experience having worked with a cloud-based software solution
Some Attributes We Highly Regard

  • Grit, intensity, and drive to tackle demanding tasks
  • Experience with databases, proficiency in logical, lookup and reference functions
  • Proven experience of system implementations, integrations, technical project delivery
  • Interest in spatial reasoning and working with 2D / 3D data, essential for our advanced spatial functions
  • Proven interest in Mathematics / Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Geographical Information Systems or a related field

What are we offering you?

  • The opportunity to fast-track your career within an innovative, well-funded, rapidly scaling international software company. You can bring your creativity when solving complex problems and make a real impact on our business by helping us improve our processes and functionalities.
  • Open-minded, cooperative and proactive people so your opinions will be heard and you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference.
