As we expand our presence in Eastern Europe, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the region.

As the Business Development Manager – Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for expanding Sperton's footprint in the region. Your role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with employers, and offering talent mobility solutions that comply with regional regulations. You will be a key driver in delivering staffing solutions across industries that require skilled labor, and you will need to navigate the legal landscape of cross-border hiring.

Your Role

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new clients in Eastern Europe, particularly in sectors like construction, healthcare, agriculture, and logistics, that require skilled labor.
  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop a market entry strategy for expanding Sperton’s recruitment and manpower services across Eastern Europe.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with regional employers, recruitment agencies, government agencies, and labor departments to ensure smooth hiring processes.
  • Talent Mobility Solutions: Propose and implement staffing solutions that comply with both local laws and Sperton’s global mobility standards, ensuring legal and logistical processes are handled effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Process Expertise: Navigate complex local hiring regulations, visa processes, work permits, and labor regulations in Eastern European countries. Stay up-to-date with changing employment laws and labor mobility frameworks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Recruitment, Legal, Compliance, HR, Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance in all business transactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in business development, sales, or staffing solutions, preferably in international recruitment or talent mobility services.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Eastern European labor laws, work permits, visa processes, and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of these regulations is essential to successfully managing cross-border hiring for labor mobility.
  • Regional Expertise: Familiarity with the Eastern European market and the legal processes surrounding recruitment, visas, and employment regulations in this region.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with clients in sectors like construction, healthcare, agriculture, and logistics is an advantage.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Eastern European languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel within Eastern Europe to meet clients and ensure operational success across regional markets.
