Data and analytics have become the brain behind SAIF’s business, providing us with insights that help us better serve and understand our customers and plan for our future. As the data and analytics program continues to expand its strategy and impact, we are seeking a product manager to bridge the divide between our business and our data.
As our new data and analytics product manager, you will create product development strategies, roadmaps, and plans for the program. You will work closely and build meaningful professional relationships with corporate partners and customers to build and enhance the data and analytics strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
You’ll be expected to gain the trust of leaders across all divisions and help shape the corporate culture as it pertain to data. You’ll need expertise and acumen in both business strategies and technology as you will help facilitate requirements, prioritize business needs, create a roadmap, and align with SAIF’s strategic vision and goals. To succeed you will need an understanding of data structure databases and ETL process, along with knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:
Partner with cross-divisional stakeholders and development team members to define business requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria for enterprise and operational projects.
Partner and coordinate discussions on project prioritization with the data & analytics working group- comprised of leaders from divisions across the company.
Create and maintain product roadmap and strategy, reflecting and incorporating program, division and corporate strategies.
Partner with enterprise stakeholders to solicit and incorporate feedback from customers and external partners to inform product roadmap planning.
Collaborate closely with IT development managers, data engineers, data scientists, business intelligence analysts, analyst community and business partners to ensure the product and technical strategies are in alignment.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work with business partners across all divisions to incorporate goals and objectives of each division, to meet the needs of SAIF customers and partners.
Analyze the impact of new solutions on existing operations and provide recommendations on potential operational and organizational changes.
Keep apprised of the latest industry standards and trends in the areas of data, analytics, AI, process automation, and innovation to continually upgrade data & analytics roadmap based on trends and proven value.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support team objectives and organizational goals, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving priorities and needs.
Recommended qualifications:
Experience: Six or more years of experience with progressively increased responsibility in data & analytics product management or related field; experience in insurance industry a plus. Proven experience leading and/or influencing teams across the enterprise that work in the data & analytics space. Understanding of data structures databases, and ETL process along with knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques preferred. Strong understanding of business strategies and market dynamics. Proven leadership experience in a matrix organization.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits
Typical hiring range: $116,008 - $136,480. The pay range for this position is annually based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications & education.SAIF provides a wide range of benefits to employees who work at least 20 hours per week, including health care, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and more. Full salary range: $102,360 - $170,600
