About The Team
The Retail field sales team is a core part of Dyson’s Nordic. We are looking for a dynamic driven candidate who has strong sales experience and is looking to expand & develop their commercial leadership skills.
About The Role
As an Area Manager you will drive product sales through our retailer´s stores and your team of Experts. Regionally based, your work fluctuates between internal and external collaboration; account management, retail activation and marketing team, as well as retailer staff, to ensure Dyson’s sales strategy is delivered in your area.
As our Area Manager, you will:
Drive sales value growth within the defined region by increasing Dyson product sales and identifying new business opportunities.
Build and maintain effective relationships with third-party retailers, store managers, and key influencers to ensure alignment with Dyson's sales strategy.
Lead the performance management, motivation, and capability development of the indirect demonstrators.
Conduct regular store visits to monitor compliance, provide feedback to demonstrators, and ensure high-performance standards are met.
Merchandise retail stores with correct point-of-purchase materials and ensure compliance with Dyson's selective distribution policy.
Conduct product training sessions for sales associates, department managers, and store managers to increase brand advocacy and awareness.
Negotiate and implement additional display space in-store to promote the full range of Dyson products and highlight key technology.
Provide weekly reports on store visits, feedback, and best practices to the Nordics Sales Team.
Fulfill other duties as required, including attending meetings, events, and travel to cover surrounding territories or categories.
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
Fluent in English and Swedish.
Driving license.
Broad business knowledge with previous target-driven experience.
Strong leadership skills with previous people management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
High level of PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Strong organizational and planning ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Self-motivated and exceptional team player with a proactive approach to work.
Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and formulate sales development plans.
Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Integrity, attention to detail, creativity, and a proactive, driven, and enthusiastic approach to work.
