The Scaled Agile Application Delivery Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the delivery of software applications within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that software products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective communication, and meticulous planning and execution of delivery activities.

The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services:

Engineering and Technology Application Services (ETAS) is looking for a Scaled Agile Test Coordinator who will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that software products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective communication, and meticulous planning and execution of delivery activities.  

What will you do:   

  • Create and execute detailed test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, in alignment with SAFe principles.   

  • Support the execution of test cycles and maintain an on-target delivery schedule by utilizing Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.  

  • Facilitate test cycles with entrance and exit criteria, facilitation of start and end of day meetings and provide test metrics to Stakeholders, Delivery Lead, and Leadership.  

  • Implementing and enforcing change control processes to ensure that all changes are properly reviewed, approved, and documented.  

  • Track and report automated testing with Cucumber and Gherkin results to enhance efficiency and coverage for current and future deployments    

  

Qualifications You Must Have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience as a Test Lead or similar role within Agile Release environment. 

  • Experience in transitioning manual tests to automated test frameworks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the testing process to reduce cycle times. 

  • Ability to effectively discuss, describe, and document situations, problems, or ideas to clearly communicate with team members, leaders, and customers.  

  • Ability to interface with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.  

  • Extensive experience with Agile Applications supporting the release and delivery of software including Jira, Confluence and Zephyr Scale for test management and Software Management control process.

 Qualifications We Prefer:  

  • Proven examples of continuous improvement of enterprise software release delivery process   

  • 3+ years experience in Scaled Agile Process  

  • Understanding of Engineering/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and tools  

  • Ability to analyze and design business processes, stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.  

  • Ability to assist with end user issues post-delivery.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
