About the Job
The Senior Strategist for DealerClub will drive growth and retention, bridging marketing and sales execution with a first-class product experience. With considerable expertise, this role combines strategic product marketing and practical sales enablement, ensuring that DealerClub's value proposition is communicated through all market-facing teams and channels. This position requires a deep understanding of messaging strategies to service customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling campaigns, coupled with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, manage resources, and align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Lead customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies that grow customer count and MoM transactions in DealerClub
Develop and refine core positioning and messaging to guide comprehensive B2B marketing campaigns, partnering with campaign, operational, and content teams to execute those campaigns
Utilize in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and B2B marketing best practices to craft impactful messages, optimize marketing programs, and drive business results
Develop and deliver comprehensive sales enablement programs, including training materials, playbooks, collateral, and competitive battle cards
Create and maintain a library of assets that can be used for Sales, Training, and Events, including case studies, presentations, product guides, and demos
Continuously monitor market trends, competitive activities, customer feedback, and sales feedback to optimize marketing strategies and inform product development
Lead go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
Required Experience/Skills
5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, preferably within the automotive retail or wholesale sectors
Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact B2B product marketing and sales enablement programs with autonomy
Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to organize work priorities, delegate tasks, and manage resources effectively within a team environment - this role does not immediately require you to be a people manager, but it is an available growth opportunity
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement
A deep understanding of business insights, organizational dynamics, and managing relationships with internal and external partners
