Role: Executive/Operations Admin

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, overlapping EST working hours

Job Type: Independent Contractor, Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST, flexibility to be able to accommodate late calls

Role Overview:

The Executive/Operations Admin will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's internal and external operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can streamline processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive operational efficiency while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless workflows across teams.
    • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
    • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
    • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
    • Coordinate team meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items to completion.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage high-priority projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
    • Utilize project management tools like Asana or Trello to monitor progress and maintain transparency.
    • Track performance metrics and report on project outcomes to leadership.
  • Financial and Resource Management:
    • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
    • Manage operational expenses, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Monitor and mitigate risks related to operations, data security, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategy and Growth:
    • Contribute to the development and execution of Drift’s long-term operational strategy.
    • Support scaling efforts, including team expansion and resource planning.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to support growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related field, preferably within the fintech or blockchain space.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Trello) and communication platforms (Slack, Zoom).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed team.
  • Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technology, and the Solana ecosystem is highly preferred.
  • Adaptive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
