The Opportunity

As Director, Chronic Care Management (CCM) Business Success – Obesity Management, you will develop and execute on a plan to grow Teladoc Health’s obesity management solutions (i.e. weight management and prediabetes management). This will require collaboration with both internal revenue generating teams (i.e. sales) and external pharmacy partners (i.e. PBMs). Internally, you will be the cross-functional glue to ensure that field facing teams have the appropriate tools, resources, and voice to bookings and revenue growth for obesity management products including Teladoc Health’s GLP-1 solutions. Externally, you will be a PBM liaison navigating the complexities of prior authorization processes for Teladoc internal teams and our clients.

Responsibilities

Driving New Sales

  • Partner with different business unit teams (i.e. product, sales ops, finance, etc) to support the success of sales teams driving growth in the obesity management business
  • Partner with PBMs to optimize obesity management solutions, ensuring member and client value creation
  • Develop deep understanding of the book of business and drive forward strategies that enable growth
  • Work closely with the CCM GM to translate overall chronic condition management growth priorities to obesity management businesses.
  • Partner cross-functionally to prioritize white space opportunities for revenue and bookings
  • Work with sales leaders to ensure robust pipeline to support bookings goals
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on GTM initiatives for CCM business

Driving Client Success

  • Coordinate with the client success team to ensure that Teladoc Health is delivering and communicating value to clients with the Obesity Management programs
  • Track member funnel performance to identify areas of optimization
  • Work with clinical, and data sciences teams to ensure that outcomes are properly tracked and reported back to clients to demonstrate the ROI, VOI and clinical outcomes of the programs.
  • Partner on initiatives to improve and maintain high degree of member engagement for these products with Marketing, Product, and Clinical teams
  • Ensure alignment of product expansion partnerships to business strategy by collaborating with corporate business development and various BU level partnership teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that member outreach, comms and engagement meet client needs
  • Receive Voice of Market/Client from Commercial teams and funnel into business strategy and marketing, product, clinical plans

Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams for business growth in Chronic Care Management
  • Experience working with PBMs, with an understanding of PBMs’ prior authorization and rebate operational processes; experience with PBM partnerships preferred
  • Ability to recognize sales opportunities and partner with Sales, Client Management, Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Clinical teams to maximize growth opportunities
  • History of partnering with Client Implementation teams to deliver at scale
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire vision and drive revenue
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance within a matrix organization of a 5,000+ person company to meet corporate KPIs
  • Experience independently identifying operational inefficiencies, developing solutions, and leading cross-functional teams to resolve them
  • Experience creating large project proposals and presenting them to C-level decision makers
  • Experience presenting to internal and to client C-level stakeholders
  • Experience with financial analysis and drivers of gross margin
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision and produce results
  • Ability to manage and guide multiple workgroups consisting of stakeholders from different internal orgs

The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
