This is a fully remote position only available in Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps best practices, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud services across AWS.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineers to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions
  • Implement and manage tools supporting our engineering teams and infrastructure including monitoring and alerting, CI/CD, and version control
  • Automate the compilation, testing, packaging, and release of our software platform
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies or services to maximize development efficiency
  • Actively participate in ensuring maintains a disciplined approach to healthcare security
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) management, required
  • Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences is a plus, but is not required
  • You have managed highly scalable production infrastructure in a highly regulated environment
  • You have experience working with the security operations with in cloud environments.
  • You possess proven experience across a range of DevOps capabilities such as log aggregation, CI/CD, Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You have experience developing and managing continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions
  • You have hands on cloud platform experience with a strong preference for AWS
  • You are passionate about building quality products and want to build the infrastructure that enables rapid, agile, and reliable software development
  • You are a team player and are interested in working at a fast-paced startup environment
  • You are excited by team development and actively seek opportunities to mentor and develop talent
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, management and automation technologies (Terraform, Cloudformation, Chef, Puppet, etc) - Preferred
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (shell, Ruby, Python, Perl, Go, etc)
  • Experience with monitoring systems
  • English B2+
