Job description

As Brand Manager you will temporarily join the Global Publishing team to support game marketing and experiences for client’s upcoming Mobile launch in China. Reporting to the Manager, Brand Management, your expertise in project management, content creation, and external stakeholder management, combined with your passion for mobile gaming, will be instrumental in bringing to life our 2025 launch and post-launch plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Mobile Brand Lead, the client’s China team, and Global publishing peers in Creative, Community and more to support the Q3 Mobile launch in China
  • Support marketing campaign development and execution for launch, including
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for VALM CN/ROW, including writing strategies/briefs for said tactics
  • Gathering and synthesizing marketing and publishing insights to inform campaign planning and strategy
  • Partnering with Creative and Production to manage asset timelines and delivery
  • Collaborating with the Growth team to support the development of user acquisition and/or app-store optimization assets
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of launch activations with client’s China, Tencent, and the Global Community team, ex. creator programs, press events, and more
  • Helping prepare stakeholder updates and comms for internal alignment where necessary

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in marketing, preferably in publishing games or services on mobile
  • Strong Project Management skills and a clear ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with feedback and collaboration with in-house strategists, creative and external agencies/partners
  • A clear understanding of brand campaign indicators, metrics, analytics, and media to develop creative strategies
  • You are passionate about mobile games and familiar with shooter titles

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with APAC/China markets is a strong plus
  • Mandarin fluency is also a strong plus
  • Experience in launching new game titles
  • Active member of a mobile game or shooter game community
  • You are up to date with the gaming and entertainment industry’s newest trends and technologies, especially mobile and/or shooter games
